iTunes U public site

This allows us to share and highlight exceptional faculty, staff, and students, as well as exciting work, research, and events from all campuses.

iTunes U access-restricted site

This gives you access to audio and video recordings of campus course sessions, faculty lectures, interviews, music, and events. These can be played on your computer, iPod, or other portable device.


Blogger, part of Google apps, is available for faculty and staff use for branded University communications. Find the template and instructions on the Google Apps Templates and Guidelines site.

University Libraries and University IT is retiring the UThink system. Sites within the UThink domain no longer will be available after December 31, 2014. Find out more.

University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff can access a suite of Google-powered communication and collaboration tools. The suite includes email, calendar, document sharing, instant messaging, and Web site publishing tools.

Mass Email

ExactTarget replaces Lyris as the University’s mass email system. ExactTarget offers control over HTML and text and is used heavily for both internal and alumni communications. Tracking and reporting functions let you assess what’s working in email communications and make improvements.
