Our Brand: How to Convey It. Redesign Status

8-1-14: is being redeveloped with a responsive design that uses Drupal for the CMS. The goals for this redesign are to 1) reflect the Driven to Discover brand in content, design, and user experience and 2) meet the needs of our external audiences (prospective students/parents, alumni, donors, and community members), giving them the information that they are looking for.

Over the last few months we have worked with Brain Traffic to develop a content strategy for We're now in the process of creating content, designing, and developing the website. We plan to launch the redeveloped at the end of October.

9-10-14: Work on is well underway with content being developed for secondary pages and design in full swing. With this project we have taken a different approach to design than we have in the past. Using the principles of component-based web design, we followed this process:

By using this approach we were able to create a "design system" that is flexible and extendable as the content on our site changes, as opposed to a static design that only accounts for specific content on specific pages. We plan to release the style tile to the University community once all design is final.

We are completing our design by the end of September and begin Drupal development in early October.
